As the game is slated for a 2023 release, there's still a somewhat long way to go before it's out, and the community is excited at the prospect of any new piece of information about it. Activision Blizzard recently announced that it would invite players to participate in the game's beta, and though all participants are almost certain to have signed NDAs to keep the gameplay from leaking out, that seems to have been slightly ineffective.ĭiablo 4 has already had a fair few leaks, of course, one of which was a 40-minute gameplay video that gave players a good idea of what to expect out of Blizzard's next flagship Diablo game. We can also see a lot of elements that are yet to be included, such as textures, sound effects, and dialogue.Diablo 4's endgame closed beta is now underway, and gigabytes of gameplay footage from the game's later sections are now being uploaded to the Internet. While the player pops in and out of various menus, we can catch a glimpse of a dedicated shop button, character stats, inventory, and a whole host of other interesting insights. In the 40-minute-long footage, we see the player taking down various enemies, collecting loot, tackling bosses, and making their way around the fairly large map. The rest of the footage takes place in Act V of Diablo 4, which in previous instalments was towards the end of the game, meaning the footage shown could be infested with possible spoilers. The distorted voices can be heard saying: "it's definitely like Witcher" and "is this like Skyrim too?" These remarks are made whilst the player is viewing in-game menus and cosmetic items. The videos are covered in watermarks that read: "Private Test Build 304286289," in the shorter video you can hear distorted voices from someone watching the stream commenting and conversing with someone else at random intervals. Over 40 minutes of Diablo 4 footage has leaked onlineAs reported by Kotaku, two videos popped up online and are alleged to be footage from a 'friends and family' build of Diablo 4 that was leaked via Reddit and ResetEra.
